Applicant will be responsible for billing vendors, maintaining inventory in optical and submitting charges to insurances correctly. Must be able to work independently and efficiently. This is a unique opportunity to manage and operate a very busy optical with an established patient base. End of year bonus based on yearly productivity. Minimum Requirements

Applicant must be currently Licensed in NYS as an Optician. Will be required to maintain license and complete yearly continuing education requirements. Previous work experience preferred. Will need to be able to travel to our satellite location once a week.

• Multitasking and time-management skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
• Maintain visual merchandising according to Brand and Company Standards.
• Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
• Adjust and fit eyewear correctly, be thorough & exact in details; ensure finished eyewear meets standards & customer requirements.
• Must be skilled at repairing frames.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge; take the initiative to accurately describe the features & benefits of various lenses, frames & coatings.
• Take pride in store appearance, show initiative to keep store clean, attractive & organized.

Salary/Benefits
