11:30 am - 1:30 pm "Understanding Objective vs. Subjective Refraction," Presented by Joseph Sollecito
This workshop will address the fundamentals of the Ocular Refraction process.  Through explanation and demonstration attendees will gain knowledge and understanding of the theory and concept when neutralizing the refractive error.  This course is extremely relevant and necessary for opticians to better communicate and assist in the eye care delivery process due to the increase of Tele-Ophthalmology and virtual refraction.  The dynamic of objective and subjective resultant prescriptions will be demonstrated in the second half of this two-hour event using hand held Retinoscopes and first-hand evaluation.
